I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So, neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.
Isn’t this amazing that we labor alongside God in the field of life. Each person has a job. The exciting thing about this labor is that we are fellow laborers with God. Get a picture in your mind of farm workers in a field – weeding, planting, irrigating. Then, look closer, we are there laboring alongside the Almighty. It gives new meaning to life and ministry. We do not labor alone; we do not labor in vain; our Field Boss is God Himself.
