Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”

Think of a time when you were really thirsty, and how wonderful and refreshing it was to take a drink.  Then remember a time when you have been in the midst of a trial – maybe suffering physically or emotionally and you stop to take a long drink of the Living Water within you.  Jesus, Who refeshes, lifts the  burden and provides that peace that goes  beyond understanding, blessed gift of God!
