He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you.  Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”

In this case, Jesus freed the woman from her suffering.  Other times in Scripture, we read that He will deliver us in the midst of suffering.  He, Who has suffered pain and humiliation beyond what we will suffer in this world, knows how to give us comfort.  He will not always take our suffering away, but He will always meet us there, in our suffering, and bring hope, compassion and strength.
