Psalm 10: 14, 17

Psalm 10: 14, 17

“But you, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in hand.  The victim commits himself to you; you are the helper of the fatherless.”

“You hear, O Lord, the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,…”

Aren’t you comforted by this?  God sees our trouble, our grief and considers before taking it to hand.  He hears, He encourages, He listens.  We may wait for God’s time to “handle” these griefs and struggles, but we know He is aware of them, and He cares about us.  Just knowing that the God of the Universe is aware of my life and its struggles helps me rest in Him while I wait for His action.
